A Vase

This vase is an aesthetic experiment that plays with the perception of the beholder. It is about how objects can encourage us to have a closer look. The overall shape is recognised immediately. However there is something remaining that is only revealed at closer inspection. Every radius and measurement is slightly off the way we expect it to be on first sight. Not one of the measurements nor radiuses is centered or continuous, everything is slightly out of kilter. Not exactly knowing how to use the two different openings on the top, users are asked to make their own decisions.
